Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure, or in a related ML field.
5 years of experience in leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience with working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Experience in working on AI/ML or Generative AI systems.
Experience with Generative AI model inference, prompt engineering and approaches using Learnable Feature Matchings (LFMs) (e.g., Code assist, Vibe coding).

The Application Design Center (ADC) is a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tool that simplifies the process of designing, deploying, and managing applications. It offers a visual design canvas, a library of pre-built templates, and integration with development tools. Responsibilities

Engineer and develop a platform for designing and deploying enterprise applications in the Application Design Center (ADC).
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure that cloud-based applications are developed and rolled out.
Utilize a variety of technologies, including Go, Java, Angular.js, Terraform, and other Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Google technologies, to design and develop solutions.
Contribute to the design and implementation of features that enhance the ADC's capabilities.
