UHC Technology is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Software Engineering to lead the offshore delivery for marketing technology initiatives. In this capacity, the individual will lead the marketing transformation efforts, as well as the development and implementation of the UHC MarTech roadmap. The Director of Software Engineering will work closely with MarTech engineering leaders onshore, UHC marketing leaders, and various cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, consumer-focused automated solutions that improve marketing capabilities across UHC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead offshore delivery for MarTech Programs
- Lead the Experience Platform and Analytics implementation for UHC business, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices
- Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery
- Ensure feasibility of use cases from a technology perspective, providing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Provide thought leadership to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating solution capabilities and industry best practices
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure continuous growth and improvement
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- 5+ years of experience working in MarTech domain preferably Adobe or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- 5+ years of management experience leading diverse teams
- 2+ years of experience working with distributed or cloud systems at scale
- Experience with Microsoft stack and cloud platforms; preferably Azure.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise platform implementation projects
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills to manage cross-functional complexities and stakeholders in a highly dynamic environment
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop teams
- Solid knowledge of data analytics and AI tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with all levels of an organization and capable of communicating as effectively with technical staff as with business and management
- Solid quantitative background, capable of extracting insights from complex data and translating them into business implications and outcomes through creative thinking
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop teams
