Software Engineering Lead – Cloud Infrastructure Security

Primary Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the availability, performance, monitoring and Infra Provisioning for the Platform which comprises of Cloud infrastructure and On Prem technologies
  
• You will closely partner with Engineering and Technical Support teams to drive resolution of critical issues
  
• You will publish and implement operational standards for all Cloud infrastructure and services
  
• You will be handling incident, change and problem management
  
• You will be working on issues related to Platform data discrepancies
  
• You will help with provisioning of Infrastructure using Terraform
  
• You will be enhancing Platform Observability Dashboards
  
• You will be closely partnering with Development Teams and help address Platform related roadblocks
  
• You will conduct post-mortem after a production issues
  
• You will react to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring to production systems
  
• You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure cloud, Prometheus, Grafana, Java, Python and many other modern SaaS technologies
  
• You will participate in projects involving people of many different disciplines: Engineering, Cloud, Networking, CI/CD, Project management, Monitoring, alerting etc.
  
• You will stay informed of new technologies and Innovate

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced Degree in a related technical field
  
• 2+ years IT experience
  
• 2+ years DevOps experience
  
• 1+ years of experience on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
  
• 1+ years of experience on Docker and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  
• 1+ years of experience on DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins
  
• 1+ years of experience on Kafka Support
  
• 1+ years of experience on Monitoring tools and technologies (Splunk, Dynatrace, new relic)
• Azure Security Tools: Proficiency with Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and other Azure services
• Vulnerability Management: Proven ability to executing vulnerability scans and security assessments, and implementing remediation measures
• Secure Coding Practices: Proven ability to ensure secure coding practices are followed in development
• Regulatory Compliance: Proven ability to implement regulatory compliance controls for Azure infrastructure Proficient with Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and other Azure services. Solid experience in executing vulnerability scans and security assessments and implementing remediation measures. Proficient Ensuring secure coding practices are followed in development. Work experience in Implementing regulatory compliance controls for Azure infrastructure  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on scripting with one or more: YAML, JSON, PowerShell, BASH or Python Infrastructure Engineering experience
  
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  
• Automation experience
  
• Good knowledge on SRE principles
