Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain entity-based microservices using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
Develop and expose REST APIs to support internal business requirements.
Implement automated test suites to ensure application quality and performance.
Work in an Agile environment with bi-weekly sprints and daily Scrum updates.
Manage software configuration, release, and deployment activities.
Deploy applications on AWS and OpenShift platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor application logging and performance using standard tools and practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve API dependencies and technical issues.
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience in Fullstack Java development using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
Proven experience in designing and developing microservices architecture.
Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs.
Strong experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment and services.
Solid working knowledge of MS SQL and database design concepts.
Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular (React is a plus).
Familiarity with OpenShift container platform and deployment processes.
Good understanding of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best engineering practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical/business area or equivalent work experience.
