The Role 

 We are seeking a skilled Data Software Engineer to join our data engineering and analytics team. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining data pipelines, analytical datasets, and reporting solutions that support business decision-making. You will work closely with analytics, product, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions using modern data and BI tools.
 

What You’ll Do 

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Python and SQL
• Build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake
• Develop and manage Snowflake stored procedures, streams, and tasks for incremental processing and automation
• Implement and monitor change data capture (CDC) and near–real-time ingestion patterns using Snowflake streams
• Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost
• Integrate data from multiple sources using AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EC2)
• Create analytics-ready datasets that power Looker and Tableau dashboards
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across data pipelines
• Use Git-based version control for all code, enabling reviews, CI/CD, and safe deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and support operational data workflows
• Document data architectures, pipelines, and operational procedures

What You’ll Bring 

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience working with data warehouse like Snowflake or Redshift
• Working experience with Python for data processing or automation
• Strong experience creating dashboards and reports in Looker
• Familiarity with GIT for version control and collaborative development
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and analytical best practices
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
