About the team 

The SAFAL team is developing an in-house automation framework that combines keyword and data-driven approaches. This framework has become the standard automation tool across FIS, utilized by over 130 FIS products and approximately 1,200 employees. The team is dedicated to continuously improving the framework by integrating new features and enhancements based on feedback from the internal FIS user community and rollout new version of framework on fixed cadence and provide support for adoption and enablement.

What you will be doing 

This position involves both manual and automation testing within the QA domain. Responsibilities include:

• Creating requirement documents for enhancements received from users of the framework.
• Developing detailed test cases.
• Converting test cases into automation scripts using a Keyword Driven Format.
• Understanding and maintaining the in-house automation framework, including existing keywords based on Selenium.
• Enabling and training teams to effectively use the framework.
• Creating proof of concepts (POCs) for automating new products.

What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

• Min 6-8 years of experience on Manual/Automation testing
• 4-5 years of hands-o experience on Selenium.
• Good at Core Java concept and programming.
• 2+ Framework design or working experience (Keyword driven, BDD, TDD)
• Good in scripting language (VB Script/Java Script).
• Knowledge of OOP’s concept.
• DB basic SQL queries / stored proc knowledge.
• Should be good at problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills
• At least one Industry automation tool (UFT, TestComplete) experience
• AI based automation tool experience preferred
• Open to work on in-house automation tool/framework
• Knowledge of financial domain would be nice to have.
• Good at creating test plan, test strategy, test cases for new features or enhancement
• Drive regression testing for release
• Work in Scrum Development

• Practical experience in Banking/Lending Domain
• Exposure to manual testing
• Strong desire towards automation.

• Degree or equivalent.

• Ability to discuss enhancement, issues, concerns with SAFAL users  and get it resolved.
• Organized approach: Manage and adapt priorities according to internal requirements
• Self-starter: Work autonomously and as part of a SAFAL Team, R&D new tools/framework/library
• Training on framework usages
