Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join the Content Shopping Platform team. This role focuses on building and supporting AI-enabled, cloud-native merchandising applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to GenAI-driven development practices, design scalable distributed systems, and provide application support for internally developed platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop distributed systems using AWS serverless technologies
• Implement monitoring solutions and AI-driven enhancements across the SDLC
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications built using Java, React, and related technologies
• Develop and maintain GenAI-based solutions integrated into development workflows
• Automate support processes and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Amazon corporate and divisional projects

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• Proficiency in Java and React
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies and AI/ML SDLC tools
• Working knowledge of Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/Linux
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
