We also have a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant (Smart Meter) commissioned in Mysore. It complies with ISO 9001,14001,45000, 27001 and 17025(NABL) certified. Two more manufacturing plants are in the pipeline and soon will be commissioned in Hyderabad and Kolkata.

Job Description

We are looking for the seasoned Senior Software Engineers for a suite of AMI (advance metering infrastructure) products like MDM, HES, Prepayment etc. He/she can care of its development, implementation, maintenance, support, and evolution. Communicates effectively to both stakeholders and technical/engineering personnel. Should be able to self-supervise different aspects related to software engineering and programming. Should be able to lead and mentor the team technically.

Responsibilities

• Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Investigates problem areas.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Education, Experience and Technical Skills

• Bachelors and/or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core 6 and above and object-oriented design skills
• Proficiency in languages like C#, Python, Java, Typescript and JavaScript
• Proficiency with Git or another version control system
• Well versed with Application architecture and design patterns
• Well versed with SOLID Principles
• Hands on with Cloud Azure/AWS/GCP
• Hands on with RDBMS like SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL (preferred)
• Hands on with Angular/ React, CSS 3, HTML 5. React Native should be a plus.
• Hands on with container development open technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands on with APACHE Kafka and Rabbit MQ will be a plus
• Hands on with NOSQL like MongoDB or Time Series DB like TimeScale (desirable)
• Hands on with BI tools like PowerBI/Looker (desirable)
