Job Title: Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Onsite / Bangalore
Stipend: 30 - 40K per month
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated SDE Intern (MERN Stack) who is eager to learn and contribute to real-world web applications. Youll work closely with experienced developers to build scalable, user-friendly full-stack solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Assist in designing RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with the team using Git and Agile practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
- Basic to good understanding of the MERN stack
- Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with React components, hooks, and state management
- Basic understanding of Node.js and Express
- Awareness of databases (MongoDB preferred)
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Good to Have
- Experience with REST APIs
- Knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
- Personal projects or a GitHub portfolio
