Job Description.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our platform solutions and backend APIs through comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies. You will play a critical role in validating functionality, performance, and reliability across diverse technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

1. Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies for platform solutions and backend APIs

2. Perform comprehensive manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and user experience

3. Conduct unit testing, regression testing, performance testing, and load testing to ensure system stability and scalability

4. Validate applications built on Appian, Anaplan, and custom solutions developed in Python, C#, and React

5. Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle using bug tracking systems

6. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues

Automation Testing

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web application testing

2. Implement and execute automated tests using Robot framework like Testforce Next

3. Utilize Terraform for infrastructure testing and validation

4. Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for continuous testing

5. Expand test automation coverage and improve test execution efficiency

API & Backend Testing

1. Design and execute test cases for RESTful APIs and microservices

2. Perform backend validation using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar

3. Validate data integrity, security, and API response times

Performance & Load Testing

1. Plan and execute performance and load testing scenarios to identify system bottlenecks

2. Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights for optimization

3. Work with development teams to implement performance improvements

Documentation & Reporting

1. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports

2. Provide detailed status updates on testing progress, test coverage, and quality metrics

3. Participate in defect triage meetings and sprint planning sessions

Required Qualifications

1. 4-7 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance

2. Strong expertise in both manual testing and test automation

3. Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation

4. Proficiency in API testing and backend validation

5. Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins

6. Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

7. Experience testing applications built on low-code platforms (Appian, Anaplan)

8. Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools (Locust, or similar)

9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
