Software Engineer in Test

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SDET (Automation) to ensure high product quality through robust test automation. The role involves building scalable automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with QA and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile web using Java, Selenium, and Appium
• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts for regression and functional testing
• Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and debug issues
• Implement cross-browser and cross-platform test coverage
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams to improve test strategies
• Maintain test data, environments, and automation assets

Must-Have Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium (web) and Appium (mobile)
• Experience building automation frameworks using TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good-to-Have

• Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs , or similar cloud testing tools
• Mobile browser automation experience
• Exposure to performance or API testing

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation
