Job Description
Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Bangalore ( Marathahalli)
Work Mode: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute automation-first test strategies for UI, API, and integration testing
- Develop and maintain automated test cases and frameworks
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow SDETs to embed quality early
- Identify test scenarios for automation vs. manual execution
- Debug test failures, log clear defects, and support production issue investigations
- Continuously improve test coverage, tools, and CI/CD integrations
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with test automation and a programming language (Java, JavaScript, etc.)
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and debugging techniques
- Experience with SQL, version control, and test frameworks
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of WCAG accessibility testing is a plus
