Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 4+ years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The primary focus of this role will be on manual testing, ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards. While manual testing will be the core responsibility, experience in automation testing will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective test coverage.
• Perform regression testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Execute functional, integration, and system-level testing.
• Contribute to automation testing efforts using appropriate tools, when required.
• Provide clear and detailed defect reports to developers.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman is a plus.
• Understanding of API testing and database testing is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with MongoDB for database verification.
• Familiarity with basic programming concepts in any language (Java, Python, etc.).
