Software Engineer in Test

We are looking for an experienced QA & Python Automation Engineer who brings a strong blend of testing expertise and development skills. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure high product quality across cloud-based applications through both manual and automated testing, while also contributing to development when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Developers and Data Scientists in an agile environment to maintain and enhance product quality
• Contribute to development activities using Python as required
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as PyTest, UnitTest, and Selenium
• Perform manual and automated testing across UI and backend systems
• Write and execute SQL and NoSQL queries for validation and testing
• Test REST APIs and GUI applications using automation tools
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA
• Extend existing QA frameworks and build new ones where necessary
• Support release validation and monitor automated test and infrastructure reports
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and agile workflows
• Ensure strong QA-to-development feedback loops across teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance within agile environments
• 6+ years of Python scripting experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium and automated testing frameworks
• Strong experience in SQL and NoSQL database testing
• Experience writing automated tests for REST APIs and UI applications
• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership, adapt quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
