Software Engineer III - Java Full Stack-React.js

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and community banking- JP wealth management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Acquire Experience of Java/J2ee,spring, Springboot, Hibernate frameworks.
• Building REST and SOAP web services using Java @ internet scale
• Gain Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• Acquire Experience with unit testing like jUnit and mock testing tools mockito.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Must be good in Java/J2EE hands on and web services (Rest/Soap), concepts and implementation
• Good hands on experience in Spring Core, MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring boot
• Messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc
• Should have knowledge of UI frameworks like Angular V4 or ReactJS
• Should have knowledge of SQL/NOSQL database alongwith PL/SQL, ORM (MyBatis/Hibernate) and basic Linux/UNIX
• Hands-on experience on Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnits, Maven, BitBucket/GIT, and JIRA 
• Utilize build tools like Maven, Gradle &  building messaging, event-driven architectures
• Utilize multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL) & Strong HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON skill

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Preference for knowledge on Cloud, CI/CD (Jenkins/Sonar), Test Automation (TDD/BDD) experience
