Software Engineer II

About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on SRE SRE Lead to lead the reliability, scalability, and performance initiatives of our infrastructure and applications. You will lead a team of SREs to maintain highly available and resilient systems, collaborate with development and DevOps teams, and help shape our engineering culture around reliability and observability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and mentor a team of SREs focused on service reliability and platform stability. 
• Define and enforce SLOs/SLAs/SLIs to measure system health and performance. 
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems. 
• Implement observability best practices: monitoring, alerting, tracing, and logging. 
• Partner with development teams to improve deployment pipelines (CI/CD). 
• Work with Product and development teams to streamline incidents and work on permanent fixes for recurring issues 
• Participate in and lead on-call rotations and production incident reviews. 
• Support the business queries and act on them based on priority 

Required Skills: 

• 4+ years of experience in SRE/Production Engineering. 
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure 
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Go)  
• Hands-on experience with any of the observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, etc). 
• Deep understanding of incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems. 
• Experience managing large-scale systems and production-grade infrastructure. 
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical and leadership skills.
