SOFTWARE ENGINEER I

DESCRIPTION

Although the role category specified in the GPP is Remote, the requirement is for Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and implement software applications using .NET, SQL, and related technologies.

• Analyze user requirements and system workflows to develop effective technical solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to support software development.

• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend system improvements.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and support.

• Ensure seamless integration across platforms and maintain system performance.

• Maintain confidentiality and protect IT assets by adhering to security protocols.

• Stay current with industry trends through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Relevant certifications or licenses may be required for compliance with export controls or regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience is required

• Proficient in:

• Microsoft .NET Framework (VBScript, SSIS)

• SQL, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL

• Experience with OneStream platform is a plus.

• Prior experience in Agile environments and cross-functional team collaboration.

• Exposure to software engineering through internships, co-ops, or extracurricular projects is preferred.

• Manage operations & enhancements of finance applications – Quantum, One stream (treasury & finance portfolio applications)
