The Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking Full-Stack Software Engineer who views AI not as a buzzword, but as a core part of their workflow.

This role blends hands-on engineering with system design, architectural decision-making, and AI-augmented development.

You will work closely with the founding team to build, scale, and optimize our B2B SaaS platform using a modern stack across JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Python.

Core Responsibilities

1. Product Engineering & Scale

• Design & implement high-performance features across the stack (React + Node.js + Python)
• Build responsive, pixel-perfect UI with strong HTML/CSS fundamentals
• Develop scalable APIs and data pipelines that interface with real-time personalization engines
• Optimize for global storefront performance with sub-second latency targets

2. AI-Augmented Development

• Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, etc.) for:
• high-velocity coding
• refactoring & documentation
• unit test generation
• debugging & triaging
• Experiment with autonomous agent workflows for testing, infra, and SDLC automation
• Operate as a technical orchestrator, guiding AI to produce correct, secure, purpose-aligned code

3. Architecture & Systems Design

• Own feature-level system design, data flows, and integration surfaces
• Participate in architectural roadmap and scaling decisions
• Model databases (SQL/NoSQL) and design caching layers for performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product to convert requirements into elegant technical execution
• Contribute to internal engineering standards & AI-driven SDLC optimizations

4. Full SDLC Ownership

• Own end-to-end developmentfrom spec build review deploy performance
• Manage CI/CD workflows for reliable and automated deployments
• Maintain production uptime, stability, and instrumentation

Technical Requirements

Languages

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• Python

Frontend

• React.js + Hooks + State Management
• Performance optimization
• CSS/SCSS + modern layouts (Flexbox/Grid)
• CSS-in-JS familiarity

Backend

• Node.js + Express/Fastify
• Python + FastAPI/Django

Databases

• SQL + NoSQL modeling
• Caching (Redis / equivalent)

AI Tooling

• Power-user experience with:
• Claude / Cursor / Copilot / Codex or equivalents
• Ability to prompt for architecture, tests, refactors, documentation, CI, etc.

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS/GCP (or equivalent)
• Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Production observability mindset
