Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience specializing in Visualworks Smalltalk. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions in a hybrid work model. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software applications using Visualworks Smalltalk.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality organization and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Document software solutions and processes for future reference.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.Assist in the planning and execution of software development projects.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in Visualworks Smalltalk.Should have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of relevant experience.Nice to have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.Must be proficient in software development methodologies and practices.Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Must be able to work in a hybrid work model.Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications Required
Certified Smalltalk Developer Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
