Software Engineer- FS

You’ll be our: Backend Developer

You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bangalore

You’ll be aligned with: Software Engineering Manager 

What you’ll do at Ather:

• You will own and deliver features for the Business Critical Application

• Complete responsibility for the architecture, design and delivery of Product requirements.

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

• Evaluate and Decide on new technology and solutions.

• Develop and design modularized code with emphasis efficiency, re-usability.

• Mentor and nurture the team members and help in achieving top notch design and high feature quality.

• Instruments their code to produce metrics, logs, and traces

• Continuously enhance customer experience, enhance solution execution.

• Work closely with the QA team to define system testing flow.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• Experience in Development with strong design and implementation experience across stack.

• Proficiency in both Node.js and Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems

• Experience in working with popular web application frameworks like Nest JS,Springboot, Play and Spark

• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts

• Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns

• Experience with Microservices architecture

• Good understanding of software security practices, authentication, authorization, data validation.

• Good experience with development tools, profiling, optimization, etc.

• Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns.

• Agile development.

• Tools - Git, JIRA, Gitlab

• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like AWS, Google Cloud good to have.

• Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD.

• Task and Work breakdown, timeline and schedule management.

You bring to Ather:

• BE, B.Tech degree in Computer Science or a related subject

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
