Software Engineer

Devx Commerce partners with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands to provide comprehensive technology solutions. We specialise in building and managing Shopify stores and custom e-commerce platforms. Our headless suite of commerce products enables brands to scale with modular and API-first e-commerce tools, including Order Management Systems, Product Information Management, Subscriptions, Loyalty programs, and C-Suite dashboards.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include programming, back-end web development, and implementing object-oriented programming principles for e-commerce platforms. The selected candidate will also work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient software development lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education/experience
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools is a plus
