Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with large-scale processing infrastructure.
Experience in Go programming language.
Experience building or working on Server side technologies.
Passion for data infrastructure and working in a fast-moving environment.

Our mission at Server Platform is to allow our customers to build production-quality services with minimal configuration. Server Platform is a product suite, and essentially Google's internal micro-service platform.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. Responsibilities

Design and implement features as part of the Server Production Platform functional domain.
Collaborate effectively with engineers (across multiple sites) and partner teams providing various capabilities to Server Platform end-users.
Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peer engineers. Contribute to technical documentation.
