Job Description

Job Summary:Capgemini is seeking a skilled AWS + DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive our cloud-based projects forward. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS services, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure management. You’ll work on creating, maintaining, and improving our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and automating deployments while ensuring high availability and security across all cloud-based systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructureImplement, monitor, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and automated testingDevelop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and AnsibleOptimize application performance and infrastructure cost by leveraging AWS services and best practicesCollaborate with development teams to establish and implement DevOps strategies for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automationMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues with cloud infrastructure and deploymentsImplement security best practices across cloud environments, including IAM, security groups, and data encryptionSet up and manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments for containerized applicationsDevelop scripts for automation of routine tasks and disaster recovery planningProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on cloud best practices and DevOps methodologiesKey Skills and

Qualifications
:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)Proven experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Git, Docker, and KubernetesProficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleStrong experience in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and GrafanaKnowledge of security best practices in a cloud environment (IAM, security groups, data encryption)Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with collaborative tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plusExcellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication skills
