Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced CI/CD Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines supporting Linux-based embedded software products. This role plays a critical part in strengthening automation, reliability, and developer productivity across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins , scripted pipelines, and Groovy shared libraries
• Automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment workflows with clear feedback mechanisms
• Support the administration and configuration of the Jenkins environment, including controllers, agents, and plugins
• Optimize pipeline performance through techniques such as parallelization and caching
• Troubleshoot complex pipeline failures, agent issues, and integration problems
• Collaborate with development teams to continuously improve CI/CD solutions aligned with their workflows

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with Jenkins , including pipeline-as-code, agent configuration, and administration (JCasC)
• Proven experience developing complex, reusable pipelines using Jenkins Shared Libraries (Groovy)
• (Experience with pipeline unit testing such as Spock is a plus)
• Practical experience with Docker for containerized build and test environments
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and API integrations
• Background in Linux-based embedded software development

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DRY)
• Proficiency with Git and modern branching strategies
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Unix/Linux environments
