Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer - Backend Developer (.Net Core) located in the Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The selected candidate will design, implement, test, and maintain back-end systems using .Net Core 8+ technologies, MS SQL Server 2022, and enterprise deployments on Windows Server + IIS. Responsibilities include working with programming languages, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring application performance and scalability. The role also involves utilizing object-oriented design principles and contributing to the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core 8

Implement business logic, authentication, authorization, and data access layers

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server 2022

Ensure API security, performance tuning, and error handling

Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API integration

Deploy and manage applications on Windows Server 2022 with IIS 10

Deployment exposure on Cloud platforms and perform the deployment protocols

Write unit tests and perform code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with C#, .NET Core 8, Web API

Solid expertise in MS SQL Server 2022 (T-SQL, indexing, performance tuning)

Experience hosting applications on IIS 10

Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)

Strong knowledge of API versioning, logging, and exception handling

Strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques

Preferred Skills

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge of Docker / containerization on Windows

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Experience with monitoring and production support
