Software Engineer - AS400 & RPGLE

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include development, consulting and could support.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: AS400, RPGLE, RPG400, CLLE, CL400, DB2/400, OS/400

What you’ll do:

• You will work with our product development group to support their new initiatives – New product development, Fixing and enhancing the existing functionality.

What we are looking for:

• Hands-on experience in AS400
• Good understanding of application integration Business processes
• Good Understanding of Retail industry
• Good Trouble shooting, Data migration and Debugging Skills in AS400
• Hands on experience in RPGLE programming is a must
• Experienced in Integrated Language Environment (ILE)
• Experienced in Creating and debugging RPG/CL programs
• Ability to create Sub-procedures and Service Programs.
• Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU and Spool files
• Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)
• Must have good written and verbal communication
• Must understand and develop efficient designs.
• Should be able prepare designs for new requirements.
• Proficient in all phases of SDLC.
• Should have problem solving, prioritizing tasks, multi-tasking abilities
