Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer with strong experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and Honeywell EPKS (Experion DCS) . The role involves testing, validation, verification, and quality assurance of industrial automation control systems. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, functionality, and compliance through structured testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for PLC/SCADA/DCS-based control systems.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for automation projects.
• Validate and troubleshoot control logic , SCADA graphics, alarms, interlocks, and historian trends.
• Conduct testing of Honeywell EPKS / Experion DCS configurations and logic.
• Execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) , simulation testing, and test-bench validation.
• Document defects, prepare test summaries, and maintain traceability matrices .
• Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
• Work closely with design, development, and commissioning teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering .
• 310 years of experience in testing or validation of PLC/SCADA/DCS systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Honeywell EPKS / Experion DCS (mandatory/preferred as per role).
• Exposure to PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Honeywell C300 .
• Experience with HMI/SCADA tools like Honeywell Station, Wonderware, WinCC , etc.
• Good understanding of control system architectures , I/O checks, loop testing, and system workflows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.
