Role Description

We are not looking for someone to simply write code. Were looking for an intern who understands how to build products using the best tools available today.

At PieQ, youll be expected to leverage AI to move fast, take ownership of features end to end, and ship production-quality code that solves real problems. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly impact customers and live systems.

This is a full-time paid internship for 6 months, on-site Software Engineering Intern role based in Chennai. As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in day-to-day product development. Youll collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders, contribute to core features, and learn how modern AI-driven software products are built and scaled.

Eligibility Criteria:

Final year Engineering Graduates with CS /Recently passed out from college

Must Have

One programming language (Python / Java / JavaScript)

Basic understanding of APIs & JSON

Git fundamentals (clone, commit, PR)

Prior usage of AI tools (ChatGPT / Copilot / Claude/IDE)

Ability to explain their own work clearly

Nice to Have

SQL / basic databases

Cloud basics (AWS / GCP)

Prompt engineering awareness

Any shipped side project (even messy)

Conversion: Based on performance, the candidate will be offered a full-time role as a Fullstack Developer
