Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity. Your typical day will involve leading a team of software developers, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead a team of software developers and provide guidance and support. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and implement software solutions based on business needs. - Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software projects. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. - Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM z/OS. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes. - Experience in developing and configuring software systems. - Knowledge of programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, and Assembler. - Familiarity with mainframe technologies and tools. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile software development methodologies. - Experience in leading software development projects. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in IBM z/OS. - This position is based at our Jaipur office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
