Summary: You will be working on Android platforms and apps powering automotive infotainment systems. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to Android platforms and apps powering automotive infotainment systems. 2. Develop best-in-class system user interfaces. 3. Collaborate efficiently in a cross-team environment with high complexity. 4. Excel as a team player focusing on high quality on-time delivery. 5. Regularly catch up with latest Android platform and app technologies presented in Google’s Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 3+ years of experience in Android app or platform development 2. Practical experience in using Jetpack Compose 3. Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages 4. Extensive knowledge of Android core building blocks/ app fundamentals and their lifecycles 5. Proficient in OO design patterns and SOLID principles 6. Good understanding of Android platform architecture and IPC concepts 7. Working knowledge in version control tools like Git, Gerrit and GitHub 8. Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology 9. Hands on expertise in developing/customizing Android SystemUI. 10. Expertise in using Car UI Library, resource 11. Proactive ownership of self-progress and team delivery 12. Solution-oriented attitude 13. High traceability, availability, communication 14. Great problem-solving skills, ability to navigate complex code bases, a hands-on approach Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive infotainment systems. 2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. 3.
