Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the software meets client requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals, and overseeing the implementation of solutions that enhance system performance and user experience. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software development process aligns with best practices and industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of software solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Deployment Management. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Deployment Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. Deployment Lead responsibilities: - Build and own the deployment plans for Releases 1c, 2(A&B), 3, 4 o This will include both the mock plan and technical cutover steps that form the overall deployment plan - Coordinate multiple teams to drive the development and execution of the deployment plans - Work with both onshore and offshore teams to build the plans - Communicate with client deployment counterparts (if any) to understand how the deployment plan fits in with the business deployment plan - Identify risks and issues that would impede the development and execution of the deployment plans o Identify and execute steps to mitigate these risks and issues to closure o Escalate to me (overall Release Lead) challenges that prevent the execution of these mitigation/resolution steps. Preferable: - Experience with SAP deployments - Experience with Blue Yonder deployments Skills: - Project management skills preferred - Has experience building large deployment plans (2+ yrs) - Strong communication skills - Has previously managed large teams15 years full time education
