As a Software Quality Engineer in the Azure Storage team, you will be involved in the testing and implementation of automated testing solutions for highly scalable, performant services that deliver highly reliable, secure and available access to storage for our customers. You will face challenges of monitoring, analyzing, and designing for ever-growing data needs of our customers and for ensuring data privacy, protection and compliance. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
• Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
• Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to understand software quality requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Define release planning and provide input on the readiness of software for production deployment and work with component teams to identify the pain points in their area and provide technical guidance.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for various software components.
• Perform root cause analysis of complex issues and work with the component team to resolve issues and enhance the overall product quality.
