WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ATHER:

• Breakdown high level business cases into achievable/traceable/executable automation and manual test cases.

• Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated scripts, data sets and other test data required to execute test plans.

• Perform functional testing, API Testing and integration testing of features.

• Perform regression testing every sprint and is responsible for raising defects and maintaining defect logs.

• Be responsible for test case reviews and test case repository.

• Monitor and capture logs to document testing phases and defects.

• Be responsible for sharing daily and weekly test results.

• Effectively utilize code and test management tools like Gitlab and JIRA.

• Liaising with stakeholders and communicating the business impact of defects to the team.

HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

• Strong concepts in API Testing and Automation, Java and Selenium

• Inclination towards breaking systems apart and willingness to dive deep to debug

• Experience with Git

• Familiarity with AGILE way of working, not a dealbreaker

• Well versed with testing methodologies

• Experience with Bugzilla/JIRA and Postman

• Great aptitude, energy, and communication is what we are looking for.

• You will need to work out of our office space with mostly harmless folks in Bengaluru

WHAT YOU BRING TO ATHER :

• 2 to 4 years of experience with manual testing and E2E Automation.

• Experience with API automation

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• ISTQB - Foundation Level Certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
