Software Development Engineer II

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) with strong expertise in the MERN stack to help us build and scale high-performance, user-centric web applications.

In this role, youll work end-to-end across the stack, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and take ownership of features from design to production. If you enjoy solving real-world problems, writing clean code, and building systems that scale, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all development work.

Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on the MERN stack.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.Knowledge of NextJS and NestJS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
