Amazon, in partnership with Whole Foods Market, is seeking Software Development Engineers to build critical supply
- chain technology solutions for distribution centers.
This role offers the opportunity to develop end
- to
- end full
- stack applications in Bangalore that optimize grocery retail operations through innovative AWS
- native solutions.
Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will own end
- to
- end delivery of significant features while serving as a technical leader.
You'll design and implement solutions using native AWS services, driving engineering best practices and mentoring team members to deliver high
- quality software.
In this role, you will:
* Design and implement scalable, highly available systems using native AWS services
* Own and lead the technical delivery of major software features
* Drive technical strategy through collaboration with product teams
* Lead design reviews and provide meaningful code reviews
* Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence
* Balance customer requirements with architectural and operational needs
* Drive operational excellence and best practices for software development
About the team
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non
- internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non
- internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
