Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work on Sybase Database Administration (DBA) and utilizing SAP BASIS Administration and SAP HANA DB Administration skills. Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform Sybase Database Administration (DBA) tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Sybase ASE, Replication Server, and IQ. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. - Utilize SAP BASIS Administration and SAP HANA DB Administration skills to enhance and maintain the database infrastructure. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including database design, installation, and configuration procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: SAP BASIS Administration, SAP HANA DB Administration. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. - Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including database design, installation, and configuration procedures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Nagpur office.
