Job Description
Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Key Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. -Ensure the quality of the applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging. -Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android application development. Technical Experience: -Worked in Android development (Java, Kotlin) and support for at least 4 to 5 years. -Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. -Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. -Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. -Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch". -Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. -Automotive experience is an added advantage. -Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. -Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines. -Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. -Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. -Commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. -Good communication skills, able to handle clients and offshore teams with less dependency on the management team. Professional Attributes: -Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android application development. -Good To Have Skills: Experience with Android Jetpack components, Firebase, and RESTful APIs. -Strong understanding of Android application architecture and design patterns. -Experience with version control systems such as Git. -Solid grasp of software development principles, including Agile methodologies. Educational qualification: 15 years of full-time education, including a BE/BTech degree from a recognized and accredited institution
