Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key decisions. Your role will require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide solutions for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies - Experience with full-stack development - Knowledge of database management systems - Familiarity with Agile development practices What you will be doing: - Acting as developer and tester for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) - designing, maintaining and supporting consolidation production processes - Acting as a developer and tester for Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE) - designing, maintaining and supporting data integrations to HFM - Work together with system development team and Operations teams around different topics, issues and trouble shooting - Participating in system patching activities and regression testing - Participating in development projects - Provide support to HFM superusers and end-users during production period To succeed in this role, we believe that you: - Have great communication and cooperation skills - Are structured and have an eye for details - Are analytical and have a deep technical interest Description of knowledge and experience Experience and background: - working with development in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Data Quality Management(FDMEE) including: - Developing HFM rules - Jython script for FDMEE - SmartView knowledge - Excel macro knowledge - MerlinXL knowledge is a plus - Knowledge about accounting and reporting processes - Previous experience in working with SAFe or other Agile methodologies Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full-time education is required
