Primary Mandate Skill: Release management and Incident management Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using your expertise in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. Roles & Responsibilities: - declaring the incident as a major incident and ensuring that the MIM process is followed, and the incident is resolved at the earliest -Design and implement Service Management Frameworks for clients, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code. - Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work on existing applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring their growth and development. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Incident Management. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience in designing and implementing ITIL-based processes. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. - Experience in database technologies such as SQL or Oracle. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
