Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working on Industry X Security and performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop secure software solutions for Industry X Security using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement security features for software applications. - Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. - At least 4 years of experience in Security Research, Consulting, Performing Security Assessments and Penetration (VAPT) Testing having deep knowledge in Web/Mobile Application (Android and iOS) Security, API Security, Cloud Security, Network Security. Preferred understanding in Container Security, Embedded Security and IOT/IIOT Security. - In-depth experience with security threats and vulnerability research along with practicing security development lifecycle best practices including threat modeling; security code review, analysis and vulnerability assessment; reverse engineering skills; exploitation and mitigation technique development; Security testing techniques such as fuzzing and pen-testing - Hands on work experience using various security and penetration testing tools such as BurpSuite, Metasploit, Nessus, Microfocus Fortify SCA, Microsofocus Web Inspect, BlackDuck, IBM Appscan, Acunetix, Netsparker, Wireshark, NMAP, DROZER, Kali Linux, Burp Suite etc. on Windows and Linux. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications and security features. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technologies and integrate innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong understanding of Industry X Security and experience in developing secure software solutions using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with security technologies such as encryption, authentication, and access control. - Good knowledge/exposure to Regulatory standards and frameworks like PCI DSS, ISO27001, NIST, OWASP, WASC, HIPAA, SOX and MITRE framework. - Good to have any one or more security certification like CEH, CHFI, ECSA, OSCP, CISSP, CISO, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA Security + and GSEC - Solid grasp of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with code reviews and compliance with security standards. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing secure software solutions for Industry X Security. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering secure and reliable software solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
