Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Key Responsibilities: - Android Platform Contribution: Play a key role in developing and enhancing Android platforms that power automotive infotainment systems. - Passion for Android: Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for the Android ecosystem, with experience in either implementing Android apps or working at the platform level. - Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android platform technologies, especially those introduced at Googles conferences. - Architectural Development: Develop and design architectural concepts that contribute to innovative and efficient software solutions. - Lifecycle Engagement: Participate in the full lifecycle of software development, from concept through deployment, to build high-quality infotainment and information applications. - Continuous Learning: Display a continuous desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and understand complex systems. Technical Experience: - Android Platform Expertise: Over 3 years of experience in the Android platform domain, with strong knowledge of the Android framework, custom Android HALs, services, and SDK add-ons. - AIDL/HIDL Integration: Proficient in the integration and utilization of AIDL (Android Interface Definition Language) and HIDL (Hardware Interface Definition Language). - C++ Programming: Extensive experience in C++ programming, particularly with modern standards such as C++11, C++14, and C++17. - Linux Experience: Competent in working with Linux, especially in relation to Android development. - Device Configuration: Expertise in configuring and optimizing Android devices for different use cases. - Version Control Proficiency: Skilled in using version control tools like Git, Gerrit, and GitHub to manage codebases effectively. - Networking and Debugging: Adept at networking concepts and capable of debugging network-related issues within the Android environment. - Multi-threaded Programming: Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications and middleware solutions in Android. - IPC and OS Fundamentals: Strong foundational understanding of Inter-Process Communication (IPC) and key operating system concepts. - In-depth knowledge of AOSP/AAOS, with high proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C++ or Java. Professional Attributes: - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. - Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively. - Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage constructively with various stakeholders. - Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and solutions. - Innovation and Adaptability: Ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing technological landscape, contributing to cutting-edge solutions.
