Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working on Industry X Security and performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using your technical expertise. Roles & Responsibilities: - Providing subject matter expertise in the execution of operational technology (OT) Security workshops, risk assessments and remediation engagements for clients. - Development and delivery of proposals and scope of work documents. - Conducting security reviews and assessments of clients operational technology and OT security risk landscapes to advise on enhancements, and develop strategies, roadmaps and new operating models to help clients achieve these enhancements. - Design, develop, and maintain Industry X Security components of application code across one or more clients. - Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using your technical expertise. - Apply deep security skills to provide the following security services: design, build and protect industrial control systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. - Ensure the quality of the code by performing code reviews and testing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong knowledge of Industry X Security. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with software development, including coding, testing, and debugging. - Minimum of 4 years control systems security background with relevant previous experience in a technical or consulting environment. - Experience with ICS systems and ICS security industry practices with exposure to Operational technologies. - Minimum 4 years with supporting PLC, DCS, SIS, HMI or SCADA systems. Experience supporting and troubleshooting industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, HART, Foundation Fieldbus. - Experience deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring in ICS environments (energy companies or large manufacturing organizations). - Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. - Work as an SME in OT/Industrial Security and responsible for developing Industrial security capabilities/approach/new offerings and solutions in house. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Experience with security protocols and technologies such as SSL, TLS, and OAuth. - Experience with security threats and vulnerability research along with practicing security development lifecycle best practices including threat modeling; security code review, analysis and vulnerability assessment; reverse engineering skills; exploitation and mitigation technique development; Security testing techniques such as fuzzing and pen-testing. - Building new capabilities. Support the presales & marketing of Security services and offerings etc. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Industry X Security. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
