Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and develop software solutions based on client specifications. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Conduct unit testing and debugging of software components. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Install, configure, and upgrade SAP S/4HANA systems, including SAP Fiori and SAP NetWeaver components. - Perform system administration tasks, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Implement SAP S/4HANA system copies, refreshes, and client copies as needed. - Manage SAP transports, including transport requests and coordination with development teams. - Conduct system health checks, apply patches, and perform system upgrades. - Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP application deployments and migrations. - Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and managing SAP landscapes. - Implement and maintain SAP security measures, including user management and authorization concepts. - Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and end-users. - Document system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications. - Proven experience as a SAP Basis Consultant, with specific experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. - Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver components, SAP HANA database, and SAP Fiori. - Hands-on experience in SAP system administration, installation, and configuration. - Experience with SAP upgrades, system copies, and performance tuning. - Understanding of SAP transport management and system landscape design principles. - Knowledge of SAP security concepts and best practices. - SAP certification in SAP Basis or SAP S/4HANA Administration. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversion projects is a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
