Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Must Have Skills: 1 At least 3 years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator, with specific experience in IBM DB2 Pure Scale environments. 2 Strong knowledge of DB2 architecture, installation, and configuration. 3 Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. 4 Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python). 5 Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. 6 Knowledge of database security best practices. 7 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 8 Strong communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have: 1 IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 for LUW (Linux, UNIX, and Windows). 2 Experience with other database systems (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle, Postgre, Redis and DataStax) Job Responsibilities: 1 Provide 24 x 7 Support to Critical production systems. 2 Install, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 Pure Scale databases. 3 Monitor and optimize database performance. 4 Implement and manage database backup and recovery processes. 5 Perform database tuning and capacity planning. 6 Design and implement high availability solutions using IBM DB2 Pure Scale. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. 7 Ensure database security by implementing and managing user roles and permissions. Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents. 8 Provide support for database-related issues and perform root cause analysis. 9 Collaborate with development teams to resolve application-related database issues. 10 Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes. 11 Generate reports on database performance and usage metrics
