Job Description: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Architect with a strong background in Layer 1 and Layer 2 public blockchains. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing blockchain solutions, including expertise in roll-ups, sequencers, bundlers, and other scaling solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Blockchain Architecture Design: Develop robust and scalable architecture for Layer 1 and Layer 2 public blockchains. Design and implement consensus mechanisms, smart contract functionality, and overall system architecture. 2. Layer 2 Scaling Solutions: Work on various Layer 2 scaling solutions such as roll-ups, sequencers, bundlers, and other off-chain protocols. Optimize performance and scalability of Layer 2 solutions to enhance transaction throughput and reduce latency. 3. Protocol Development: Contribute to developing and improving blockchain protocols, ensuring security, decentralization, and efficiency. Stay updated on the latest advancements in blockchain technology and integrate relevant innovations into the architecture. 4. Smart Contract Development: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement smart contracts that meet business requirements and security standards. Ensure the security and correctness of smart contracts through rigorous testing and auditing. 5. Performance Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks in the blockchain network to enhance overall performance. Implement solutions to improve transaction speed, reduce fees, and optimize resource utilization. 6. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect against potential vulnerabilities and attacks. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. 7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and expertise. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 8. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, protocols, and development processes. Educate and train team members on best practices and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Blockchain Architect with a focus on Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions. Extensive hands-on experience with public blockchain development, including expertise in roll-ups, sequencers, and bundlers. Strong programming skills, preferably in languages such as Solidity, Rust, or Go. In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development. Familiarity with security best practices and experience in conducting code audits. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
