Job Description
Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science/Information Systems
Key Responsibilities: 2. Hands on / Extensive experience in Android IVI- Head Unit UI 3. Hands on / Extensive experience in Android Middleware components like display, camera, connectivity, audio 4. Should have hands on experience in developing features using above mentioned Android components. 5. Expert in Android Auto, Kotlin, Java , C++ 6. Should be a skilled Android UI Dev 7. Should have extensive knowledge on Android 14 architecture, features introduced. 8. Should be able to support team in resolving challenges, feature design and implementation. 9. Should have experience in bringing up Android Home screen on target hardware 10. Experience in working on Android products for Auto domain 11. Experience of working on atleast two subsystems - Display; camera; audio-video; connectivity; vehicle 12. Experience in Android boot sequence - profiling and optimizing Technical Experience: 1. Minimum 3+ years of extensive experience in AOSP, AAOS, 2. Expert level skills in Android Programming 3. Expert level knowledge in Kotlin, Core Java & embedded C, C++ with OOPS concepts and design patterns. 4. Good knowledge in designing and consuming SOAP/Rest based interfaces 5. Ability to write production quality code and to work from and maintain existing code-bases. 6. Experience in Bootloader, Linux kernel, Android on virtio 7. Should have experience in porting, migrating linux kernel versions 8. Should have experience in bringing up peripherals - I2C, I2S, SPI, PCI, USB, SomeIP, GRPC, CAN 9. Should have experience in HAL/HIDL/AIDL of various subsystems [Connectivity, Multimedia, sensors,..] 10. Should have experience in debugging tools 11. Should have experience in supporting software updates (recovery partitions and firmware updates) 12. Should have experience in running VTS, CTS-on-GSI and fixing/analyzing defectss 13. Should have experience in analyzing/fixing defects of CTS, CTS-V, GTS in the area of Automative 14. Experience in using git, gerrit, JIRA tools 15. Strong understanding of Android architecture and system 16. Should have worked on Different Hypervisor Platforms 17. Should have worked on Different SOCs like NXP, Qualcomm etc Professional Attributes: 1. Excellent problem-solving, feature design, analytical and communication skills 2. As an architecture he/she should be able to leads discussions with global architects in identifying the best options in design 3. Good communication skill and good team player. Educational Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
