Your main responsibilities

• Help to actively deliver the roll-out and embedding of Amadeus Data Catalogue initiatives in support of the key business programs and domains
• Support and provide resolution to technical issues that may raise and drive it to investigate, debug and solve.
• Support the recommended changes to enhance the data management and cataloguing initiatives.
• Proactively participate to propose and implement new features of Collibra to add value to Data management and Governance.
• Participate in the technical workshops with vendors and follow relevant developments within the IT industry
• Active involvement in major incidents (2LS troubleshooting, including on-call where necessary).
• Flexible to drive and deliver projects related to Data Management, governance, Collibra
• Act as primary contact to vendors, drive in-life issues of the Collibra platform.
• Guard in and evolve platform components as primary SME
• Coordinate the change management process, incident management and problem management process.
• Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness across the pilots and future projects to minimize cost, increase speed of implementation and maximize value delivery.
• Be an evangelist for Data Governance, Cataloguing and Collibra and participate actively in Amadeus data journey.
• Proactively propose and implement automation to reduce manual and mundane tasks pertaining to Collibra

About the ideal candidate

Education and Years of Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
• 10+ years of IT industry experience in working on Data Governance/Data Engineering/Data Architecture areas
• Experience of working in the production grade environment.
• Experience in the Airline domain will be a plus
• Certified in Collibra Learning paths will be a plus

 Technical Skills

• We are seeking candidates with experience in data governance tools and cloud technologies. Individuals with this background are encouraged to apply, as they may be well-suited for this role.
• Implementation, configuration, maintenance of Collibra environments.
• Expert in Development of workflows on Collibra platform, managing Data catalogues, mapping business/technical requirements to Collibra features
• Proven technology expert in working with Collibra platforms
• Provides day to day support for Collibra platform through ticketed work assignments
• Experience in installing Collibra Connectors, running ingestions from a variety of sources and hands-on experience Collibra, its JAVA & REST APIs including ability develop groovy and python scripts
• Expert in understanding full capability of what Collibra offers and ability to use new features to deliver value to existing and new requirements.
• Experience in Production Rollouts and successful implementation of Collibra features
• Expert understanding in Data Foundation initiatives, like Modelling, Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Data Maturity Assessments and Data Strategy in support of the key business stakeholders.
• Complies with security standards and technical design
• Prior experience working with product management to prioritize roadmap items for delivery
• Experience with standard software development methodologies, knowledge of Agile methodology is highly desirable
• Excellent communication (written & oral) and organizational skills; self-motivated, hands-on, entrepreneurial
• Passionate to strive for Customer experience and on-time delivery
