Summary of the role

Are you looking for a technically challenging role? then we’ve one for you. We are looking for an expert software engineer to design and develop services in microservice based architecture.

You’ll be involved in developing high available applications in microservices based architecture, in the most efficient and scalable way.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a background in developing and deploying Java microservices on cloud.

Education and Experience

Bachelors / Masters Degree in engineering.

9 to 12 years of experience in analysis, design, development and deployment of software systems in latest version of Java.

Experience in Travel domain will be a plus

Technical Skillset

Hands on experience in Java 8 and above

Hands on experience in developing applications using Spring frameworks.

Hands on experience in Sprint Boot, Web service and Rest Service, Microservice based Architecture

Hands on experience with DevOps activities in cloud. Preferably Azure.

Good understanding data structure and algorithms.

Complete knowledge on Design patterns.

Experience in deploying the application to cloud using CI/CD

Experience to Docker + Kubernetes

Experience in migrating monolithic application to microservice will be a plus

Experience with any NoSQL DBs. Couchbase, MongoDB will be a plus

Common accountabilities:

Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area is a plus.

Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.

Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​

Works independently without technical guidance and support the junior team members with technical expertise.

Able to work with architects to build solutions

Specific accountabilities:

● Analyze specifications

_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.

● Design systems and code

_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.

_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.

_ Develop software according to Industry standards.

_ Model, design and implement databases.

● Test and maintain the software

_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality.

_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.

_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst

● Document your work

_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
