Software Development Engineer 3

Summary of the Role

Are you looking for an engaging technical opportunity? We’re seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Amadeus’s authentication, authorization, and administration platform.

In This Role You’ll

• Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented, reusable C++ applications aligned with company standards.

• Build connectors to external systems following global standards and practices.

• Take responsibility for application features from design through implementation, including quality assurance.

• Write maintainable and high-quality code and participate in constructive code reviews.

• Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and specifications.

About You

• Experience with C++17 or higher, Oracle SQL (version 19 or above), REST APIs, and web services.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization techniques and mission-critical systems.

• Exposure to OBE (Offer-Based Engine) environments is beneficial.

• Understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, and Domain Driven Design.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and container platforms like OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

• 5.5 to 9 years of experience in designing and developing software systems using C++.

• Experience in the airline domain is beneficial.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular is a plus.
