Job Summary

We are seeking a Chromatography Software Developer to design and develop software solutions supporting chromatography instrument control, data acquisition, and analytical data processing. The role requires strong software engineering expertise combined with an understanding of chromatography workflows and laboratory systems.

Location: HITEC City, Hyderabad (Onsite, 5 days)

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C++, C#, .NET
• Experience in desktop application development (WPF / WinForms / Qt)
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL)
• Experience in hardware communication protocols (RS232 / USB / TCP-IP)

Domain Skills

• Understanding of chromatography workflows (HPLC / GC)
• Familiarity with Chromatography Data Systems
• Knowledge of signal processing / data acquisition concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with CDS (Chromatography Data System) platforms like Empower, Chromeleon, or OpenLab
• Exposure to laboratory informatics (LIMS / ELN)
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11)
• Experience in developing a chromatography software from scratch

Education

• B.Tech / M.Tech Computer Science / IT / Electronics
• M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry / Scientific Computing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for chromatography data systems (CDS)
• Design modules for instrument control, data acquisition, and signal processing
• Implement chromatogram analysis features such as peak detection and integration
• Collaborate with analytical scientists for method workflow implementation
• Integrate CDS platforms with LIMS and laboratory informatics systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, GxP)
• Troubleshoot instrumentsoftware communication issues
• Participate in software validation and release documentation
